The idea of this project comes from a scenario which is often seen on the street: many people tend to evaluate their self images through the reflections on the sides of buildings. By doing so, their vision is extended. With our normal eyesight, it is impossible to "see" ourselves because human's visual system is developed to explore what's "outside" of us. However a narcissist may be more interested in himself or herself then the outside world. This design is to extend the human vision and express the idea of a narcissist.

Eventually I decided to stick with the last design which is also inspired by these artists:
The crafting process was challenging because of the materials. It was difficult to find light and sturdy circular wires that can serve as a cage, and I wasn't sure what material will stick out and support the weight of the mirrors. Eventually I found some garden wire and fake sunflower which turn out to be even better than my original design! I was very excited about it. Following the central idea of making a cage crinoline, I was able to construct my final body extension project.
